Make-Up Fever

The size of my images on my blog has been bothering me for as long as I know it. They're too small aren't they? I'm working on them, I promise! As requested, here are the products I'm using right now. Since these products are tiny, I decided to spare you squinting your eyes away and uploaded these in a bigger size! I won't go into elaborating about them, basically because I don't see myself going through any particular routine whatsoever. And secondly because I am a complete noob when it comes to make-up. I honestly just dab everything on my face, trying to look the least bit normal. It is honestly shocking my complexion has been able to still be this maintained after years of complete neglect. As I've said before, as girly as I want to be, I really am not when it comes to body and face care.

Urban Decay's 'Naked' - This is everything I can ask for in a palette, so it came to no surprise when I saw myself running to Sephora at 3rd Street Promenade in my feisty heels, running to the Urban Decay section to see it all gone, then panting away as I enquired about it to the Sephora guy who seemed more amused with my shoes than anything else. All that running was made worth it the moment he opened that very drawer and 4 boxes of golden 'NAKED' velvety goodness were right in front of me. Whoohoo!

Tokidoki Pittura Brush Set- How cute is this?! Honestly, I am a lazy person when it comes to proper cosmetic 'tools' but I couldn't stop my hands from reaching out to the most adorable set of brushes in HISTORY. Period.

Fasio MascaLiner- I got this in Hong Kong last winter, its a 2 in 1 mascara and eyeliner thing but I don't really care because I usually find myself too lazy to even curl my lashes and apply this magic goodness that supposedly makes your eye lashes triple in length and double in volume. But on days when I do bother, it is hardly visible but I do see a slight difference in my lower lashes. Which makes me at least a little satisfied.

Hanskin BB cream- They were a gift from Jack and happened to come in a box of mini travel sized tubes. I heard some good reviews so thought it would be no harm giving it a shot. So far so good!

Daiso eyelashes- For 2 bucks, these are the best lashes you can get! I am all for cheap thrills. They're even cheaper in Japan but how does it matter when they can be used for weeks without any trouble and still make me look the least bit decent. I cannot live without them. If you ask me to go anywhere with no make-up at all, I think I still am able to do so but trust me, I live on these lashes and have boxes and boxes of them stocked up. I simply cannot do without them!

Apart from these, I use YSL's matt and radiance pressed poweder in Pink Sand, Benefit's 'Don't Stray' stay-put primer for concealers and eyeshadows, Estee Lauder eyeliner, Clinque's blushing blush power in 'Cupid 08' and some random lip gloss which was a gift from Miyuki-San from Tokyo.
I hope this gives you guys a rough idea of the cosmetics I use! I would love to be able to call myself a pro and give a tutorial just because its fun but really, I am not. Ha ha. Have a great week ahead! It was fun neatly laying these products on the carpet of Hazel's lovely apartment and taking these photos!
