A quick post of visuals of the finer things Bangkok had to offer me. The real deal will probably be up in the guide which I will be re-doing soon. Hopefully, if my patience persists..! But all is good and Bangkok treated me more than well enough. I was at first upset upset that the nothingness of little things changed. These little things built up together that always made me look forward to more whenever I came back. Then, a walk along Petchuburi Road the other evening reminded me that some things do stay the same. The same faces, the same smiles, the same shops, pushcarts and stall tenders, the same food and the same culture. A young man and old lady who smiled at me and told me they remembered me even after 3 years. The time I spent alone with the city proved to be how much it has constantly inspired me. Speaking of which, the thai local designers which never fail to make me in awe of their meticulously put together collections. Everything from the clothes and accessories to the lookbooks and store fronts. Their sense of direction is beyond comprehensible and leaves me thinking how in the world are they able to come up with something as genius as this? Nevertheless, I'd love to share my full experience with everyone who reads the blog with a proper guide on one of my favourite cities of all time. Feels great to be home! Time I get properly settled down.
