Deepavali

It just happens that my aunt has some of the most amazing friends, so full of life, love, laughter and fun and they have parties once in awhile in their beautiful homes. Sometimes I tag along because these are really some of the most stunning homes I've stepped into in Singapore. Most of the time, to be very honest, the food is too good for words and I just join in happily feasting away and listening to these adult conversations- which I actually enjoy being a part of at times. Most of the time, everyone just ends the day with even more laughs, hugs and champange. Last week, Aruno had a Deepavali lunch at her gorgeous home (cool furniture from all over the world!) so I was treated to wild hibiscus swimming in champange, a huge indian feast and home made snacks. Mint salad was plucked out of their garden which felt like a dream…I love the idea of having a kitchen beside a garden. And my first time tasting mango curry passed down from generations. I had a great time and I thought I'd just share a couple of photos I took with the help of Instagram. Wore a lovely pink dress by Rojita (which I found out about from ViVi mag!)- my kind of Bollywood.
