Tokyo smacked me with familarity. Being surrounded by so much of this familiarity in such close proximity allowed me to really look at this city with completely new perspective. The little details that make the city what it is. The familar faces, same streets, scents and the cool air. We lived in Tokyo, even though it was just for a few days. It was no longer about having a long to-do list but really just enjoying the city and what it had to offer and the people we met and reunited with was what made it even more worth it. We danced and sang our hearts out, got reunited with old and new friends and spent Christmas in this beautiful city. It was so nice being back, and experiencing every day life there as a first. Now, I've spent enough winters in Tokyo, can't wait for Spring!
